Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs your (“Customer”) use of the software application Decode - Turn UI back To Code (“Application”) for desktop computers that was created by Volodymyr Gorlov (“Developer“). The Application – is an utility application which aims to automate converting user interfaces developed in a form of XML document to representation in a form of source code for Swift programming language.

Developer built the Application as a commercial application.

The Application is provided by Developer and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform Customer regarding policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of personal Information. If Customer choose to use Application, then Customer is agreed to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The personal information that Application collects is used for providing and improving the Application. Developer not use or share Customer information with anyone except as described in this privacy policy document.

Information Collection and Use

User Provided Information

The Application is not requesting Customer to provide personal information in order to use it.

The Application obtains the information Customer provide when submitting Feedback report or Error report.

When Customer submits Feedback report, the plain text, formatted text, images and other information attached by Customer to Feedback report transmitted to server software and persisted in database. The server software and database used by Developer to receive Feedback report. Feedback report may be persisted in database as long as needed for Developer in order to analyse Feedback report.

When Customer submits Error report, the error description in a form of plain text and user interface document in a form of XML document, voluntarily attached by Customer to Error report, transmitted to server software and persisted in database. The server software and database used by Developer to receive Error report. Error report may be persisted in database as long as needed for Developer in order to analyse Error report.

Developer is not responsible of any possible loss or damage due sensible information accidentally or knowingly provided by Customer inside Feedback or Error reports. Such not on purpose reports with sensible information will be erased from database in a reasonable time and not taken for consideration by Developer.

Automatically Collected Information

During the first start Application generates random installation identifier. It is submitted together with Feedback or Error report and used by server software to group Feedback and Error reports. Customer can refer to installation identifier when requesting support from Developer by e-mail.

The Application incorporates Analytics and Crash reporting services. Automatic data collection by these services is disabled by default. Customer voluntary enables Analytics and Crash reporting services.

These services may collect information such as Timestamp, Session identifier, User identifier, Operating System name, Application version, etc.

Opt-Out Rights

Customer can stop collection of information by the Application by disabling Analytics and Crash reporting services in Application preferences. Customer can skip submitting Error report when error occurred.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

Developer will retain Customer provided information for as long as Customer uses the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Developer will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If Customer want to delete provided information that was provided via the Application, then Customer can contact Developer at e-mail address shown at the bottom of this page. Developer will respond in a reasonable time.

Please note that installation identifier is needed in order to identify and erase collected information. If installation identifier randomized or recreated after application reinstall, then Developer will not be able to find and erase Customer information in database. Thus Customer information will be erased after retention period in approximately 24 months.

Service Providers

Developer may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

• To facilitate Application, server software and database;
• To perform Application-related services; or
• To assist in analyzing how our Application is used.

Developer want to inform Customer of this Application that these third parties have access to your personal information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Children’s Privacy

This Application do not address anyone under the age of 13. Developer do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case Developer discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, Developer within a reasonable time delete this from server software and database. If Customer are a parent or guardian and Customer are aware that child has provided Developer with personal information, please contact Developer by e-mail address, shown at the bottom of this page, so that Developer will be able to do necessary actions.

Security

Developer value Customer trust in providing personal information, thus Developer are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Developer will limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Application. Please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and Developer cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Developer may update Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, Customer are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Developer will notify Customer of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

Your Consent

By using the Application, Customer are consenting to our processing of Customer information as set forth in this privacy policy now and as amended by us. ”Processing” means using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information. Processing activities by Developer will take place in the Federal Republic of Germany. Processing activities by third party services take place in the Unites States of America.

If Customer reside outside the Federal Republic of Germany or Unites States of America the information will be transferred, processed and stored there under Federal Republic of Germany or Unites States of America privacy standards.
